Tags & Bags (2)

For the holidays I make a lot of cards. Whether they are cards I send out, cards a friends or coworker asks me to make or cards I sell in my Etsy shop, I make a lot of cards from September to December. What I don't make enough of is packaging. I never seem to make the cute tags or adorable bags I have the supplies for. Well recently I fell in love with The Stamp Market and they sell quite a few products that made me want to make the cute things I never do and so I bring you my first blog features, Tags and Bags.

For my second tag I'm showing off some products from The Stamp Market.

Since yesterday's tag was a lot more involved I decided to keep this one a little more on the simple side with no extra die cutting, a one layered tag if you will. After die cutting the tag from the Tag'd Stamp & Cut Bundle I decided to use the stamp set from the bundle too.

The stamp set comes with a solid stamp for the top of the tag and I knew immediately that was what I was going to use so I just needed to decide on an ink color. It is no secret that I have a major love for all inks Altenew, I have all of the mini cubes in all of the colors, so I went with my favorite from the Green Meadows set, Sweet Leaf, and stamped the top. Note: I recommend using a Misti or Tim Holtz Stamp Platform for this since it is such a solid area.

Once I had the top stamped I decided to use one of my purchases from the sale The Stamp Market had on Black Friday, the No Peeking Stamp Bundle. This set was perfect for what I had in mind and fit exactly right on the tag. And of course the same Simon Says Stamp glitter card stock as used yesterday.

This tag took no time and would be so easy to mass produce.

What do you think of this simple tag?

Stay tuned for another tag tomorrow.
