Tags & Bags (3)

For the holidays I make a lot of cards. Whether they are cards I send out, cards a friends or coworker asks me to make or cards I sell in my Etsy shop, I make a lot of cards from September to December. What I don't make enough of is packaging. I never seem to make the cute tags or adorable bags I have the supplies for. Well recently I fell in love with The Stamp Market and they sell quite a few products that made me want to make the cute things I never do and so I bring you my first blog features, Tags and Bags.

Today we have tag #3, a clean and simple tag mad with only a handful of products.

With my first two tags (1 and 2) completed it was time to come on to tag 3. I decided to keep this one kind of simple. Once again I used the large tag die from the Tag'd Stamp & Cut Bundle by The Stamp Market to cut the tag out. Then I opened my new stamp set from Reverse Confetti, Triangle Trees. I had my eye on this set for a while so when there was a sale and it was available it was all mine.

Once I had the stamp set decided, and which tree to use, I went to my inks. Of course I found myself drawn to my FAVORITE color from my Altenew Cherry Blossom mini set, Pinkalicious. And I grabbed a trunk from the MFT Oh Christmas Tree  stamp set and stamped it in Altenew Silver Stone.

I used the sentiment from the Triangle Tree set and I was basically done, I just needed some sparkle. I of course used the same Simon Says Stamp glitter card stock as I have been using for the hole re-enforcer and then I went to my jewels and gems. After looking at my stash I decided to add the smallest from the Pretty Pink Posh Silver Metallic Jewels to add some sparkle to the tree.

All in all this was so super easy to make and could easily be reproduced. The most time consuming part was pulling out the smallest of the jewels.

What kind of tags do you like to reproduce?

Stay tuned tomorrow for Tag #4, one that I personally LOVED making.
